With this programme, the aim is to offer a complete, objective, and very up-to-date view of what Private Equitys appearance on the business stage internationally and in Spain has meant, continues to mean, and will mean in the future, as well as to try to resolve the long list of doubts and questions regarding this phenomenon. Specialists from different fields will be responsible for an in-depth analysis of the Private Equity phenomenon.
Executives from acquired companies, professionals and consultants who have participated in these processes, executives from the industry,and ESADE professors in the various fields of knowledge implied (strategy, finance, HR, family firms, etc.) will lead the analysis and debate so that, by the end of the programme, participants have a more adequate view of what this phenomenon entails and how to respond to it.
Family firm businessmen, regardless of their size and industry, and their collaborators;
Family Offices;
Executives form all types of firms, whether family-owned or otherwise; Spanish or multinational;
Private Equity firm executives; and
Consultants specialised or not in M&A’s.
In this programme, we combine action-oriented participatory lectures in which the most relevant PE tools and concepts are explained along with a discussion of case studies and concrete examples with the primary actors and experts in these. All of this is done with the aim of generating an enriching debate between the participants, professors, and guest executives, not only about the necessary knowledge, but also about real experiences.
INTERACTION
One of the key elements of this learning model is the contribution made by each of the participants who, by exchanging their experiences, enrich the knowledge that is learned inside and outside of the classroom.
